Auditions for the original comedy “Door to Door” by Shirley King will be held on February 7th, 8th and 9th, 2011, between 7p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Crooksville Recreation Center off St. Rt. 93 next to Blacker’s Pharmacy. You need to attend only one night of auditions and only those auditioning will be considered for a part. Alice Grant will be directing assisted by Kathy Campbell.
“Door to Door” is about a day for celebration in Murlock until suddenly everything falls apart. If the groom goes to jail what will happen to Murlock’s wedding of the year? And how will the good people of Murlock fend off developers bent on destroying their orchards? This lively script is populated by a cast of memorable characters. The show will be presented in dinner theater format and ends with a big surprise for the audience. 4 women and 4 men of various ages are needed. All parts are written for teens and older.
