What better way to kick off your holiday season than with dinner and a play? The SEO Regional Theater will present an All You Can Eat spaghetti dinner and an original Christmas play, The Buzzard’s Gulch Christmas Caper, on December 3rd, 4th and 5th 2010.
Dinner will be served from 5:00 TO 7:00 on December 3rd and 4th only. All you can eat spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, drink and dessert for just $7.00 for adults, $3.50 for kids 10-under. Bring two cans of food per person for the Community Center food pantry and we’ll knock one dollar off your adult dinner ticket.
An original play with a song written especially for the show by Linda Rose, The Buzzard’s Gulch Christmas Caper follows dinner. When the Sheriff bans Christmas in the small western town of Buzzard’s Gulch, the town folk have to draw on all their resources to try to get him to lift the ban. Complicating matters is a mysterious stranger and a lovesick bartender further hampered by the return of Harlan Diamond. A wild romp of Christmas fun, The Buzzard’s Gulch Christmas Caper will have you laughing and crying. It is suitable for all ages.
Ticket prices for the show are $7.00 for adults, $3.50 for students and seniors aged 65 and over. All the action takes place at the Bearfield/Alpha School on St. Rt. 37. Getting there is half the fun! Take St. Rt. 93 past Crooksville to the crossroad of 93/13 and 37. Turn left onto 37 and just follow the road. The school is on your left about one mile up the road.
